Authentic Shinto Gate
In Japan, torii can be found at every Shinto shrine. The torii is not a “garden gate,” but rather an object of great significance in Shinto. At the shrine, it marks the transition into the inner sanctuary. Torii are known and loved around the world as a symbol of Japan, and are often erected in Japanese gardens, in landscaping, and at festivals and events.
We craft completely authentic torii in a variety of styles. The gallery features a Ryobu-torii we built, right in the heart of Berlin!
